ASP-DEv XM Forums in most cases is free
(only if you run the forum on a clustered server are you required
to purchase a license), but as part of the license agreement, you
must keep the 'Powered By' link and logo on your forums.
We realise that the requirement of this
link/logo is often a problem, from having an internal policy of not
allowing links, to not fitting in with your site design, so to
alleviate this we are offering Commercial Licences that will allow
you to remove the 'Powered By' link/logo.
The Commercial License comes in two versions,
Indivudual/Non-profit and Corporate. All Licenses include
updates to the forum valid till any major version changes. (i.e.
the current version is XM v1, RC1 all updates will be included
untill XM v2).
Also all license holders will have access to a
special area on our forums, where you will recieve priority
support, and in most cases a gauranteed response by the forum
administrator to your posts.
Individual/Non-Profit

This License is for individual who run their own
sites, or for Non-Profit organisations such as charities.
This License dosn't cover the use of a forum on a clustered server
(please see the Clustered License below).
Each License covers one Domain, so you can have
as many forums as you like as long as they are all under the same
domain name, this must be a full domain, not a subdomain.
For eample www.mydomain.com/forum1
www.mydomain.com/forum2 can share the same License, but a forum on
forum.mydomain.com must have its own License.

Corporate

The Corporate License is for everyone not
included in the Individual/Non-profit license. This License dosn't
cover the use of a forum on a clustered server (please see the
Clustered License below).

Clusterd Server

We have a special License that allows you to run
the forum on a clustered server, as ASP-DEv XM forums is one of the
few (if not the only) ASP based forum that offers true support for
clustered environments (most others rely on infinity being set to
one server) this is considered to be of great value!
A seperate License is required for each forum
installation, this License also inludes the 'powered by removal
license'
